But, I am here to share some home remedies that can give you some relief from your earache problems.

What Causes Earaches?

One of the most common causes of ear pain are ear infections. The pain becomes intense due to some inflammation or build-up that happens when the ear becomes infected. Other causes may be from ailments like sinus pressure or a sore throat, mainly because areas that are close to the ears can affect the ear. Ear infections are mostly bacterial, not viral. Again, always keep in mind to consult your doctor since it is highly-recommended that you do not take antibiotics without a prescription. In any case, earaches are not always brought about by ear infections. Other conditions (like skin infections, allergic reactions, etc.) can also be the root of it.

When untreated, most ear infections can spread to the jaw and several areas of the body, especially when the pain has lasted for more than a day or two. In the event that the pain you’re feeling gets extreme and joined by a high fever, or if you are possibly experiencing hearing loss, please seek medical attention immediately.
