What is Constipation?
People can get queasy or uncomfortable when talking about bowel movements and stool. It’s not a common topic to talk about, but knowing about constipation and why it happens is important for your physical health. If you are noticing issues, such as passing stools less than 3 times a week or releasing hard stools, this is something to be concerned about. But, not to worry. I can ensure you that constipation is an absolutely common condition and can affect anyone.
The most typical causes of constipation is dietary – if you lack fiber in your food, or you’re dehydrated, but it can occur if there’s lack of physical activity, too.
The usual symptoms of constipations include:
- Feeling discomfort when on the toilet
- Bloating of the abdomen
- Extreme difficulty emptying your bowel
- Small, hard stools
Fortunately, there are some natural remedies to help relieve your constipation quickly, and within the comfort of your own home.
Natural Home Remedies for Constipation
1. Caffeinated Coffee
Who doesn’t love coffee? Being a coffee lover myself, you cannot believe my delight when I found out that coffee is one remedy to relieve constipation. How? Well, coffee tends to stimulate your colon and the muscles in your digestive system. Coffee also carries small quantities of soluble fibers which are good for preventing constipation.

2. Magnesium Citrate
